Here are my Top 3 Outdoor Activities for Colder Weather for 2020

“There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing”⁣

I will admit, I am a Southern California person forever but I am determined not to let colder weather hold me back or slow me down this year. This year has made me appreciate my privilege to access safe, clean, and scenic outdoor space. It is not something that is lost on me at all. As long as there are friends to run with (or because its me...fast walk), hike with, and move with...I will be out here⁣ ✨🙌🏾

So this year, I am excited to have some upgraded workout gear. @athleta 's Rainier tights are MADE for colder weather. They still breathe for when I am getting sweaty BUT they have more insulation for the cool down and the walk back inside. They come with plenty of pockets for my phone, mask, hand sanitizer..etc. ⁣

Here are my Top 3 Outdoor Activities for Colder weather:

Hiking- I am lucky enough to be part of a Women’s Hiking group in Philadelphia. This helps motivate me to connect safely with friends outdoors and move my body

Running/Walking- I love my neighborhood and I love checking out all the houses. It makes running (which I am trying to do more of) and walking (which I do daily) feel much more enjoyable . Plus, I do love running into neighbor cats and dogs!

Gardening- I have a tiny front yard and a small backyard so I am not going to act like I am a master gardener. However, I live in the city so there is always a chance that stray trash and tons of leaves make their way into my yard. Getting outside to tend to my yard and fix it up is something I look forward to!

Does it get cold where you live? Are you still going to get out there and move even if it is cold or are you hibernating? Let me know how you stay warm ☕️⁣
